Blickling Hall concerts 2016 - Ibiza Classics and Last Night of the Proms

It's been a while since I've had a chance to blog any photos since I've been so flat out this Summer trying to keep up to date on the many wonderful events and weddings I've been lucky enough to photograph but I had to post a few shots from the superb Blickling proms events last weekend (link to the full gallery is at the bottom of this post).The weather was absolutely perfect on both evenings and the parkland was looking very colourful with the mass of picnic tables, blankets, union flags & fancy dress outfits.  Not to mention the day-glo & glow sticks for the Friday evening Ibiza event!So Friday was Ibiza classics with the Urban Soul Orchestra playing the classical arrangements while DJ Goldierocks worked the decks and three superb vocalists (Max, Gina & Izzy) provided the finishing touches.  They performed a superb selection of tracks including some of my favourites (Groove Armada's At the River and Insomnia by Faithless were definitely notable mentions!) After the lively dancing of Saturday, Sunday was always going to be a more sedate affair but it was no less enjoyable and once again the weather was just perfect for it.  This time the music was provided by the fantastic Sinfonia Viva orchestra with vocals by the world famous band Blake and the charming ladies of Classical Reflection.  A huge crowd, many of whom really got into the spirit of it with fancy dress and thousands of union flags, a superb atmosphere, if you haven't been before then I urge you to get tickets next year, you won't regret it!
