The cost of wedding photography - 27,001 reasons why your wedding investment is money well spent

I read an interesting article this morning detailing the costs of wedding photography and thought I would share it.The original article is here.  I've shared their infographic below as I think it demonstrates well why wedding photography costs can seem high, I mean it's just taking a few photos right?!What people often don't realise are all the costs behind the scenes and the time taken training, marketing, doing the admin, planning, shooting, processing and presenting a wedding.  The kit I use to shoot and process a wedding totals over £27,000 (scary actually, I've never added it all up before!), then factor in the office space, reliable car (my biggest fear is breaking down on the way to a wedding!), travel time, processing time (more than the actual time shooting the wedding), insurance, over 12 years experience and various workshops/training courses over the years. All in all, it's a bargain, I ought to put my prices up!But it's not all about the gear and technical ability, the most important factor to most of my couples if you read the many lovely reviews on my Google reviews page (see here) is personality and how I fit in during the day.  The following words & terms pop up regularly in my reviews....Professional  •  Friendly  •  Passionate  •  "Made us feel at ease"  •  "A true gentleman"  •  Relaxed approach  •  Friendly & Fun  •  Unobtrusive  •  Smartly dressed  •  "Organised but not officious"  •  "Went beyond the call of duty"  •  Hard working  •  Knowledgeable & helpfulUltimately your wedding photography investment isn't just about buying wedding photos it's about capturing great memories to tell the story of that once in a lifetime day that you have spent years (and thousands of pounds) planning for.  All the people you care most about being in the same place at the same time.  A never to be repeated event....Choose your wedding photographer wisely! • Wedding photographers in Norfolk • Norfolk wedding photographers • Wedding photography in North Norfolk •
