North Norfolk Emergency Services & Lifesavers photo 2016 at Cromer beach

Yesterday evening, just before England went on to lose to Iceland in the Euro's, a large gathering of North Norfolk's finest appeared on Cromer beach for a photo which makes you proud to be English once again! I'd been asked to do by the organiser - RNLI Lifeguard Manager Vince Pank to come along & photograph the lifeguards but the shot grew & grew as Vince called up more & more organisations and it turned into a pretty monumental image (if I do say so myself!)Vince did a terrific job of getting so many people to be present for the photo which included Sheringham & Cromer's RNLI lifeboats & crews, the RNLI lifeguards & Face to Face teams, HM Coastguard teams, Cromer Fire crew, representatives from the East Anglian Air Ambulance, East of England Ambulance Service, Norfolk Police, Broads Beat and many more.Luckily enough one of the HMCG team, Christon Iliffe also happens to have the same drone as mine and was able to fly my drone to capture some superb aerial shots while I perched on the stepladder and got the shots from closer to ground level!160627-services-001 160627-services-002 160627-services-003 160627-services-004 160627-services-010 160627-services-012 160627-services-013 160627-services-014 160627-services-017 160627-services-031 160627-services-038Below, Vince's very organised, laminated & velcro plan for the shoot....160627-services-040...vs my rubbish sketch!  Funny that we both planned out the arrangement independently of each other in a very similar layout though....160627-services-041For the full gallery of shots of these North Norfolk Emergency services by Norfolk photographer Chris Taylor click here.
