2013 - Year in review of a Norfolk photographer - wedding photography

In the next few blog posts I'm going to select a few of my favourite photographs of last year, splitting into wedding photography, lifestyle portraiture and pre-wedding shoots, commercial & press photography, Norfolk landscape photographs and personal work.This first selection are some of my Norfolk wedding photographs (actually mostly from Norfolk weddings but there are some from Guernsey in there too!), we have some fantastic wedding venues in Norfolk and Suffolk which I am lucky enough to work at regularly.  Cley Windmill is a fabulous little venue for smaller weddings with incredible views across the Cley saltmarshes, people travel from all over the country to get married at this unique North Norfolk wedding venue.  On the subject of unique - Voewood just down the road in Kelling is one of my favourite wedding venues in Norfolk, a stunning building filled with incredible pieces of art and curios and a beautifully landscaped garden.   Only 4 miles from my base here in Sheringham is Chaucer Barn - coming 6th in the Independent's Top 50 wedding venues in the UK, ahead of Claridges, Babington House and Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons (another incredible wedding venue I've shot at a couple of times in recent years).  Down the road in the other direction we have Bayfield Hall which has been described as shabby chic but it's a lot more chic than shabby and the views across the lake are just incredible.Anyway, enough about the venues, I'll post some more detailed info about them another time, I'd just like to thank all of the wonderful couples and their guests I met and had the pleasure of photographing in 2013, it was a fantastic year, here are just a few of my favourite wedding shots of last year....     For full galleries of my Norfolk wedding photographs please go to my Norfolk and Suffolk wedding photography gallery.
