A Holkham Hall wedding & Hoste Arms reception....Norfolk wedding photography
So we're in the middle of a drought, that should mean balmy sunny days, skylarks wheeling overhead, groomsmen overheating in their many-layered suits, blushing brides gently perspiring...not quite, and the pattern of April's weather continued sadly last Saturday for Katie and Adam's spectacular wedding at the Temple, Holkham Hall. For proof that poor weather needn't spoil a wedding or dampen the photos read on - this was one of my favourite weddings to photograph in a quite some time, great venues, really lovely people and all possibly helped along by the knowledge that the meal later in the day was guaranteed to be fantastic - the Hoste Arms in Burnham Market is THE place to eat in North Norfolk, OK maybe along with Morston Hall, The Wiveton Bell and Byfords in Holt but seriously - Nelson used to take his Saturday morning beer in the bar at the Hoste Arms - that's my kind of history. Are you seriously still reading this drivel? Have a look at some photos, I'm better at them than writing.....Below, Cameron, winner of the sweepstake for closest guess as to how long the speeches would take collects his not-insubstantial winnings!Below, Katie's sister Anna was thrilled to find her own shop in Burnham Market! For the full gallery of Katie & Adam's stunning North Norfolk wedding please click here.
