Felbrigg Hall in Winter

Despite missing most of the snow so far I managed to get a few wintery shots recently on a wander round the lake at Felbrigg.A hungry young swan followed me round the edge of the lake, unfortunately I only had an apple in my pocket and discovered that swans don't really like bitten off chunks of apple no matter how hungry they are!  I did however take advantage of it's proximity and got a shot of the ice & snow settling on it's back, I think it makes an interesting pattern.  Also below are some leaves in suspended animation in a frozen puddle.  Not the most exciting shots in the world but I had to justify the walk somehow!
