Kat & Paul - a Cambridgeshire wedding near St. Ive's

Officially the hottest wedding of the year for me, Kat & Paul had a scorcher of a day, a thermos flask of Fanta with loads of ice has never been more welcome than it was that day!We started off the day's photography at Kat's parent's house - you'll see below some shots of the amazing old veil that Kat wore - it was her great grandmother's and I think we worked it out to be 121 years old (although that didn't stop Kat climbing an oak tree while wearing it as you'll see!)Below, some great shadow patterns created by the antique veil...Below, Kat's grandmothers photographs the lads...Love the play of light off these geraniums in the churchAfter the service everyone walked through the meadow to the marquee in the field next door, this would have been a completely different photo if it had been raining! Can't help feeling a bit bad about this photo but I couldn't resist!  Sorry!"Kat & Paul sitting in a tree k.i.s.s.i.n.g."!   (remember that playground song?)This is the first couple I have ever photographed in a tree and it's not something I would have thought to do but Kat & Paul specifically requested this shot.  Different is good! For the full gallery of shots from this wedding in Cambridgeshire please click here.
