Katy & Richard tie the knot...

Back over to Beccles-land at the weekend for Katy and Richard's wedding at Henstead Church before heading on to Elms Barn for their reception. It was a Norfolk/Scotland wedding with a piper playing outside the church and lots of kilts, everyone looked great.Once everyone was seated back at Elms Barn they conducted the Quaich ceremony where a large two handled silver bowl has a liberal pouring of whisky and is then drunk from by the father of the groom, the father of the bride and the piper then taking his fill. Great to see such a tradition, and the whisky vapours coming from the Quaich were lovely! For the full gallery of images from Katy & Richard's wedding click here.
