Liz & James - lifestyle portrait shoot on Sheringham beach, Norfolk.

It must have been Autumn 2010 when James first contacted me for a voucher to give to Liz for her birthday for one of my North Norfolk Coastal Lifestyle shoots, we eventually got a date booked in for them to come over for the shoot - conveniently for me they selected Sheringham from the list of locations!  - and we had a pretty much perfect morning for the photos.  About an hour after the shoot the dark grey clouds came in & it hasn't stopped raining since so we were very, very lucky - James & Liz must have some pretty impressive guardian angels! We met at the boating lake (more of a puddle actually but hey), they were sitting on the bench below looking out to sea as I approached, having not met them before I wanted to check I wasn't actually photographing random strangers on a bench so I checked they were who I hoped they were & presto - the first shot made itself! We then headed onto the cliffs alongside the golf course, dodging stray golf balls on the way - that view around the North Norfolk coast to Blakeney Point is spectacular at the best of times but when the sun shines, the fluffy clouds are passing by and the sea has turned the greeny blue (not quite azure!) it really is a view to rival any other in the world in my opinion. After having succesfully not fallen off the cliff edge we headed down to sea level & got some great shots in the shelters & on the unique Sheringham blue flints at the beach, I love it when a plan comes together! The full gallery of Liz & James's Norfolk portrait shoot is here
