MYVISION 2011 - documentary photography workshop in Brighton - I survived!

Just back from an incredible few days in Brighton on the MYVISION 2011 documentary photography workshop.  Four days surrounded by some of Britain's most talented professional social photographers all sharing, supporting, teaching and inspiring each other.  An incredible bunch of people with a frightening amount of talent.Regular 'blog stalkers'(!) may remember I did the workshop last year, each participant is given an organisation/business/area to document in the Brighton area, I can't reveal too much about the process as it would spoil it for future participants but it is a process in which everyone comes away with something unique which just wouldn't be possible if it was done any differently. This year I was tasked with Street Photography of an small area of the Brighton North Lanes called Brighton Square (literally metres from the Quakers' Meeting House I photographed at last year's workshop), below are a small handful of my favourite photos over the two days...Massive thank you to the legendary Iain Bain for making this happen, to our incredibly talented and patient Team Leader Julie Kim, James Stewart our team assistant extraordinaire and all the amazing photographers that made this possible through either providing support in many ways or just being there as participants and making it a very special time.
