Pre-wedding shoot with Rachel & Ben

The pre-wedding shoot with Rachel and Ben was the earliest pre-wedding shoot I have done - as I was heading off to the Peak district for some walking with my brothers later in the morning Rachel and Ben kindly agreed to have the shoot at 9am (that's pretty early in the morning to be letting someone take your photo!)I'm so glad we did, the light at that time of the morning was great to work with - in past years I have tried to keep pre-wedding shoots to evening times when I knew the light would be soft and even (and easy to work with) but these days I like to try to embrace the harsher light to make more interesting images. We met at the North end of Lady Anne's Drive at Holkham and wandered along the boardwalk, through the woods and onto the beach. It was great to be out in the sunshine at one of Britain's finest beaches, beats working all day in an office!  After the shoot we found a table in the Victoria Hotel at the opposite end of Lady Anne's drive and had coffees while going through the details and timings of their wedding. It was a great start to the day!Link to full gallery from this North Norfolk photography shoot here.
