Sheringham Lifeboat - cuts through the surf

Had a great morning for exercise down at the lifeboat this morning, I've been waiting for a morning where everything came together to get some good shots for postcards for the RNLI giftshop - basically we needed a morning that was suitably rough, decent weather/sunlight, the tide well in and me being there with my camera - I could pretty much guarantee the last of those but the others rarely coincide.Got some good shots, all of which I'll be putting up in their own gallery in the next couple of days but for the time being here's my favourite three...The first is the launch -Below, the RIB punches through a wave...This last one is my favourite, I've worked it a little to bring out the drama of the shot but it just shows what this boat (and it's crew) is capable of.The full gallery of Sunday's exercise is here.
