The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment (HCMR) on Holkham Beach

Each year the HCMR have their summer camp at Bodney and treat the horses & riders to a morning ride-out on Holkham Beach.  The times & dates aren't publicised publicly as large numbers of people could present a hazard to all involved but I've been lucky enough to stay in contact with the regiment since the first time we photographed & filmed them in 2017 and were able to get to the beach yesterday to capture the moment.We were lucky to have few moments of sunshine which make all the difference to the photos and the horses & riders did their thing while we got a lift in one of the army trucks getting shots out of the window as we rode alongside the galloping horses.  It was truly incredible to see up close and hopefully some of the shots capture that magic.This morning I was pleased to find that the shots had been used as half page images in The Daily Express, The Daily Telegraph and The Times newspapers...For the full gallery of shots see here....HCMR Gallery
