Voewood wedding photography - Kate & Simon - a wedding in North Norfolk

Simon & Kate's wedding in North Norfolk last Saturday was one of the most fun weddings I've been to in a while, they had thought of so many little details and ideas to keep their guests entertained, from selecting a gentleman from each table to be the designated carver for each table (and having to wear an apron & chef's hat) to a VW Photobooth and an incredible live band just to name a few.The day's coverage started at Kate & Simon's house in South Creake, as you would expect it was a hive of activity in the house and plenty of laughter too! Once the girls were ready I dashed down the road to the church to get some shots of the lads and catch the arrival of Kate and her attendants... ...then it was a 40 minute drive to the fabulous Voewood near Holt for their reception and wedding breakfast. I love photographing at Voewood, owner Simon Finch has amassed such an amazing collection of artwork and curios, you could spend hours walking round the house taking in the atmosphere. As a manager for a well known supermarket chain it was only fitting that Simon brought his bride into the wedding breakfast on a chariot 'loaned' from his employers! The speeches were fantastic and very emotional, I have to admit they brought a lump to my throat more than once.
