East Anglian Air Ambulance - beach rescue

It's not every day the distinctive East Anglian Air Ambulance lands in Sheringham, so when I saw them hovering over the golf course yesterday afternoon I grabbed the camera and headed over.They ended up setting down right on top of Skelding Hill which must have taken some serious piloting skills.  When I arrived I found our local coastguard Search & Rescue team on the clifftop, a walker had accidentally gone over the edge.   Once the medics had the man stabilised the helicopter landed on the beach and flew the man away for hospital treatment.The East Anglian Air Ambulance provide a fantastic service and are entirely dependent on fund-raising and contributions, view their website here.Below are a few of the grabbed shots...
