Gemma & Jason - a wedding at Hevingham Church and with a wedding reception at Oxnead Hall, Norfolk.
Back in 2012 I photographed the wedding of Gemma's twin sister Vicky (to James) so it was really lovely to be asked to photograph Gemma and Jason's wedding four years later, I must be doing something right!Someone else who is doing lots right is the talented Rowan Banks of Apricot Weddings - wedding videographer and all round lovely bloke - Rowan has a very unobtrusive style, always a pleasure to work with and my number one recommended videographer for Norfolk weddings. We started the day's coverage at Gemma and Jason's house in Hevingham, a hive of excitement and activity... It was then just a short drive to the village church where I met Jason and the lads for some shots before Gemma's arrival.... The 'official bit' completed we then all headed off to the beautiful Oxnead Hall for their reception. Oxnead Hall really must be one of Norfolk's best wedding venues, with the historic hall, stunning grounds and lake, and tastefully renovated areas for the wedding reception drinks and meal. So many beautiful spots for the photography! I put the drone up for a few quick aerial shots of this stunning Norfolk wedding venue although they were cut short by loud rumbles of thunder and fat raindrops starting to fall! Just look at those grounds! We have many stunning wedding venues in Norfolk and Oxnead Hall if definitely up there in my top ten.Awesome cakes by Norfolk's Select Cakes...
