AeroVisuals - Aerial photography & Video for Norfolk and East Anglia

Last week saw the launch of a new side to my Norfolk photography business - AeroVisuals - offering professional aerial imaging using my Phantom 2 Vision+ drone aka a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).It's taken a fair investment of time and money to get this business off the ground (excuse the pun!).  Since buying the drone last Spring I've been through a three day training course to gain my Remote Pilot Qualification, followed by a practical flight test in Cirencester.  The next requirement was to write the Operations Manual for the business - detailing the various procedures and technical specifications.  Once this was all finished I then applied to the UK Civil Aviation Authority for Permission to Conduct Aerial Work and last week the notification of approval came through which now allows me to legally offer commercial aerial photography & video in the UK.  One of the requirements is to have full Public Liability insurance for the drone, I have insurance for up to £2 million public liability.Anyone offering aerial photography without the qualifications, CAA permission and insurance is working illegally and should be avoided.  Using any images obtained by an illegal drone operator actually leaves the company using them liable to fines by the CAA, this is why it was so important to me to go through the correct channels.Aside from the amazing new opportunities for landscape images I am able to offer the following aerial photography services in Norfolk...Property Surveys • Agricultural & Agronomy photography • Estate Agent property aerial photography • Golf course photography • New Build photography • Aerial photography for tourism • Church roof & spire survey photography • Aerial & windmill sail surveys • Aerial photography for events • Aerial photography for Industrial sites & factoriesThe AeroVisuals website is now live, click the Homepage screen grab below to have a look at the site...
