Christine & Andy - Cley Windmill Wedding Photography, North Norfolk

I'm very lucky having so many amazing wedding venues pretty much on my doorstep here in North Norfolk and Cley Mill is definitely one of them.  I've shot more weddings at Cley Mill than any other wedding venue, it can be challenging in a Northerly gale when it's lashing down with rain but more often than not the weather here on the coast is dry & clear for the weddings I've covered so we get to enjoy the incredible views.   This was particularly handy for Christine & Andy's wedding - Andy works on the Sheringham Shoal Windfarm, visible from Cley on a clear day, so it was good to be able to see the windfarm in the background of some of their wedding photos.I started the afternoon's coverage with some shots of the preparations before the intimate service (as is the necessity for weddings at Cley Mill!) and we then headed down to Cley beach for some of my favourite shots of the day.  It was great how committed to the photos Christine was - walking along the uncomfortable shingle beach barefoot much of the time and even sitting on some well-used crab pots for some shots.  I'm not sure what the opposite to a Bridezilla would be called (Bridekong?!) but what ever it is Christine qualifies as one of the most willing and unconcerned brides ever!At Andy & Christine's request I took along my quadcopter for some aerial shots, I am always happy to do some aerial images for people if it is appropriate, safe and there is time, I think Cley Mill weddings work particularly well for this type of shot.  If you look really closely you can see our bride & groom on the balcony walkway halfway up the outside of the mill!
